Food Not Fracking Launches

foodnotfracking smSane Energy Project is part of multiple alliances, locally and statewide, and we're very excited about a new coalition effort: Food Not Fracking connects the dots between our upstate farm communities and downstate consumers. The "locavore" movement is growing and sales of organic food have increased by 26-fold. The number of farmers markets has tripled in recent years. It's very clear that consumers want food that is free of pesticides and GMOs; it's logical that they'll also want food to be frack-free. Two big events on back-to-back weekends are part of this launch and are not to be missed. Join us on October 19th at Chelsea Piers where we'll greet Governor Cuomo at a brunch he's hosting, and on October 26th in Union Square to Save The Black Dirt Farms (where shale gas infrastructure already threatens a unique agricultural region).
