Oppose the Liberty LNG Port/Attend the Hearings

The "Port Ambrose" Liquified Natural Gas deepwater port  has now been filed with federal agencies, opening the public comment period. This project is massive in scale and effect and MUST be stopped. Attend the Public Hearing, Tuesday,  July 9th, in Long Beach: Open House: 4:30-5:30pm The public can ask questions of corporate representatives and the Maritime Administration (federal permitting agency) Public Hearing: 6:00-8:00pm The public will have 3 minutes each to comment and let the Maritime Administration know why you oppose this project

Where: Allegria Hotel, on the beach at Long Beach NY LIRR from NYC Penn Station train to Long Beach; short walk to the hotel (map). Trains depart Penn Station at 3:21, 3:52, 4:15, 4:40, 5:00, 5:20, 5:23, 5:33, 5:55, 6:13 and arrive Long Beach approximately 55 minutes later. Fares $9 (off peak) or $12:50 (peak). Plenty of parking also.
